Applications for admission to Sandy Secondary School outside the normal admissions round (known as in-year admissions) are administered by the School Admissions Team at Central Bedfordshire Council.
Parents and carers wishing to apply for a place for their child during the academic year should do so via the Council’s online admissions service using the link below:
The Pupil Admission Number (PAN) for each year group at Sandy Secondary School is 240. This represents the maximum number of pupils we normally admit into each year group, subject to the availability of places.
If an application for admission is unsuccessful, parents and carers have the statutory right to appeal the decision.
All admission appeals are processed by the School Admissions Team at Central Bedfordshire Council. Full details of the appeals procedure, including how to submit an appeal, can be found at the link below:
We encourage prospective parents and carers to contact the school if they require further information about in-year admissions, the application process, or to discuss their child’s individual circumstances.
For enquiries, please contact the school office:
Please note that all decisions regarding the allocation of places, and the management of waiting lists, remain the responsibility of the School Admissions Team at Central Bedfordshire Council.
