  • In an effort to ensure affordability and ease the financial pressures involved in purchasing uniform for our parents/guardians and their families, we have established a 'Pre-Loved School Uniform Shop'. This is also a means of reducing the amount of clothing that is wasted and sent to landfill, thus protecting the environment, and reducing our carbon footprint.
  • The school has placed donation boxes in our main and student reception areas so that parents/guardians or students with items of unwanted uniform can donate them. We will ensure that all items are washed and ready to be re-used, after which we will arrange a pre-loved event, from 5.00pm – 6.30pm on selected dates. Students and families will then be able to obtain any items of uniform they need, in exchange for a small donation, if they can afford it.

Items You Can Donate

Our Pre-Loved Uniform Shop offers a wonderful opportunity to support both your family and our school community. We gratefully accept donations of high-quality, gently worn uniform items that remain in excellent condition.

Acceptable donations include blazers, trousers, skirts, PE kit, and other standard uniform components. Please ensure all items are clean, free from damage, and meet our uniform standards before donating. This initiative helps make school uniform more affordable for families whilst reducing waste and promoting sustainability.

By donating pre-loved uniform, you help us maintain the high standards of appearance we value at Sandy Secondary School. Our students benefit from access to quality uniform at reduced cost, and your generosity supports our commitment to ensuring every child feels confident and proud to wear our school colours.

If you have uniform items to donate, please contact the school office or speak with a member of staff. Together, we're building a more inclusive, resourceful school community where everyone can thrive.
